- NPA: Served in the Advocacy Committee on postdoc advocacy & policy, co-wrote proposal on postdoc policies, developed Q&A resource on FLSA & postdocs, provided feedback on postdoc exit surveys.
- GCC: Worked with PhD Career Outcomes Committee, published institutional PhD career taxonomies paper that could be a resource for workforce legislation, contributed advocacy training content.
- Advocacy Fellow Roles: Selected as SfN Policy & Advocacy Fellow to support neuroscience research advocacy, and ARIS Fellow working on STEM education & workforce training and policy project.
- Various Systemic Change Projects: Wrote on trainee advocacy for university policy change for NSPN Graduate Education Working Group handbook content, contributed to projects on academic mentoring, leadership & well-being for eLife Ambassadors.
- JSPG: As CEO & Managing Publisher, published special issue on STEM education and workforce development, enhanced author impact on Capitol Hill, expressed support for the GRAD Caucus, and enlisted JSPG in SOA.
- Policy Fellow Roles: Supported federally-funded research as AAAS-ASGCT Congressional Policy Fellow, advanced policy entrepreneurship as FAS Senior Fellow in Science Policy and facilitated policy training engagement as Sigma Xi Senior Fellow in Civic Science & Public Policy.
